Oscar Avalos – Founder
Oscar Avalos is a U.S. Army veteran who served from 2019 to 2023 as a 13M HIMARS Crew-member at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. His name, Oscar, means "warrior champion," a title that resonates deeply with his journey—both in and out of uniform. After leaving the military, he faced an internal battle far greater than any he had encountered in service—the struggle to master his own mind. Experiencing firsthand the weight of unchecked thoughts and the anguish that followed, he endured tragedy that reshaped his perspective on mental resilience.
It was through the exploration of One Consciousness theory that Oscar found clarity, realizing that we are all interconnected in ways far beyond the physical world. This understanding helped him unlock his higher self, break free from limiting thought patterns, and embrace a path of self-awareness, healing, and purpose.
Rooted in his proud Chicano heritage, Oscar draws strength from a legacy of resilience, unity, and perseverance. Understanding that true power lies in self-awareness and discipline, he founded Patriot Minds to help veterans reclaim control over their mental and emotional well-being. Through mindfulness, breath-work, and holistic wellness, he is committed to providing fellow service members with the tools to navigate stress, reconnect with themselves, and build a future beyond service.
Because for him, and for those he serves, true freedom starts within.
Patriot Minds is dedicated to empowering veterans by providing them with the tools and support necessary to lead healthier, more connected lives. Through meditation, breathwork, holistic living, and mindfulness practices, we aim to help veterans achieve mental clarity, physical wellness, and a sense of community, grounded in principles of shared consciousness.
Sat Nam- Truth is your identity.
To create a world where every veteran has the tools, resources, and community support to reconnect with their true essence and purpose after service. Guided by the principles of unity, empowerment, and conscious awareness, Patriot Minds aims to help veterans rediscover their higher selves through mindfulness practices, meditation, breath-work, and holistic wellness. By tapping into Sat Nam—the truth of who they truly are—veterans will unlock their potential and experience a deeper connection with themselves and others, leading to lasting transformation and the ability to thrive in all aspects of life.
At Patriot Minds, we believe that true healing starts from within, and our holistic approach is designed to address the mind, body, and spirit.
